Our ambition in raising the bar in advertising is to establish a new standard for communication with customers.
As a retail media initiative we are present in the daily lives of our customers, this includes ensuring that our advertising seamlessly connects with them. To contribute to Ahold Delhaize's purpose “inspiring everyone to eat and live better, for a healthier future for people and planet”, we continuously improve our communication and advertising to match our customers needs in their daily live, making it more personal and more relevant.
We refer to this new standard as “relevance@scale in daily life”.

Ad Retail Media (AdRM) is an initiative by Ahold Delhaize. Our local banners Albert Heijn and bol are already servicing their brands with a broad range of retail media. In addition, Ad Retail Media will unlock retail media opportunities for brands that are not being sold at Albert Heijn and bol. Combining the reach and insights of Albert Heijn and bol, we will optimise relevance in advertising.
